Grizzly, I handled the 577 at Cabelas last Saturday. No comment! I handled a beautiful A. Hollis and Son 450/400 3 inch. The rifle look great. It was off the face. The bores were sharp with a bit of Cordite cutting near the chambers. It was a Leonard Action, a 3 digit Leonard action. Unfortunately, the rifle is on it's way to JJ at Champlin. Did I mention I called a friend of mine who was looking for a nice double? ![]() There was a very cute Purdey chambered in 300 Rook. I'd never seen one of those before. It was a dainty rifle. Could I suggest you would be very happy with a 450/400 3 inch? Even a new one built by Butch. |
