I handled the 577 at Cabelas last Saturday. No comment!

I handled a beautiful A. Hollis and Son 450/400 3 inch.
The rifle look great. It was off the face. The bores were sharp with a bit of Cordite cutting near the chambers. It was a Leonard Action, a 3 digit Leonard action.

Unfortunately, the rifle is on it's way to JJ at Champlin.

Did I mention I called a friend of mine who was looking for a nice double?

There was a very cute Purdey chambered in 300 Rook. I'd never seen one of those before. It was a dainty rifle.

Could I suggest you would be very happy with a 450/400 3 inch? Even a new one built by Butch.
