There is much debate on rear first or front first. If you listen to most of the men who have hunted safari, they will say you can't be thinking about which trigger to pull first, and as we tend to land on the front trigger naturally, it reasons that the order should be front then rear. I practice a lot with snaps caps and have never bumped the rear trigger when shooting. Both of my doubles have very heavy rear triggers. On my 470 however, I always bash my finger when I shoot the second barrel.
