See, this is great! I knew there was more to them than just pulling the triggers. I have a double bore gun with heavy recoil, and I never thought of shooting the rear/left first. Makes sense to me now. As for the shot gun, the recoil is very mild, so the other other statements make sense as well. I certainly agree with practice, but I don't think the wallet can handle much of that right now.
