Mick: Really enjoyed reading Jack Lott's salute to Pondoro. Thanks so much for posting it. I don't know how many times I have read African Rifles and Cartridges, but every time I open that book, it's a joy to consider Taylor's words. Feel the same way about Samuel Baker,especially because of a personal interest in the black powder big bores.
