Trigger pulls seem equal and smooth, I'm more concerned with the brass nipples bending and getting flattened. I think I would like to convert them to steel and musket caps.

What is the best way to use/shoot a double hammer gun? I've been told that you never cock both hammers because that will cause a double fire? Any truth to this? Sounds reasonable, but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of two quick shots?
