untill you've tried it, most people don't realize that wild hogs can run several miles ahead of dogs. did it some in the early 90's and is a great test of endurance. not all chases are marathons but a big boar will test anyone. we usually had a .44 or .45 for back-up. BTW, good site and a big Texas howdy! Kurt.
I passed the Hondo exit off I-35 Friday and today on the way to and from South Texas. Good to see you here. Our hogs are hiding from me so far but I think I may have a line on where they are. The dry weather we had has moved them from where I found them last year.
