I'm new here (so be gentle with my question), and I have no desire to create a verbal fire-storm of brand loyalty. - - I want a working double rifle (.470NE) that will regulate accurately at 100 yards, using Federal 500gr. factory ammunition. - Your assistance is requested.

1. Price is a consideration, with reliability and the ability to accurately print both barrels at 100 yards my key requirement.

2. I have e-mailed Mr. Searcy, and he assures me that his rifles will meet my 100 yard requirement. I have read enough to believe he also makes a reliable hunting rifle.

3. Blaser is very attractive with price and the ability to self-regulate the barrels. I am not concerned with the unique cocking system. (With my novice experience I don't think I am concerned.)

If anyone has factual information - or hands-on experience - with either of my above choices, I will really appreciate your help...
