My advice to anyone who is badly bitten by the double rifle bug is to start looking seriously NOW! It might seem like a stupid amount of money at first, but once spent you will soon forget it, and you will have a double rifle in your hands. Time is the enemy! By waiting, you will watch the price of new guns rising just ahead of your savings, and the market for good second-hand rifles shrinking at an alarming rate. ...and all the while you're wandering the woods with a turn-bolt, never knowing just how much more satisfying and fulfilling the experience could be!

Spending money you don't really have NOW might be a hardship, but a little pain in the short-term will reap huge rewards in the mid to longer term. You will be out there shooting and hunting with your double, stacking away experiences and fond memories, not just dreaming about it.
