When I was in London a few months ago I went to both Purdey and H&H. The Purdey people were very friendly and helpful. They didn't have any rifles, only shotguns. However they gave me a tour of the "Long room" which is a historic portion of their property. It was a good experience. H&H was not quite as "browser" friendly. I wanted to go to John Roberts but at that time was there on the weekend and everything was closed. I recommend Purdey, and see if you can get into the "Long room". Good luck! Armbar.
