Appreciate the comments and some of these will be likely be helpful considering the path forward. I'm out of country for a few days and will only have a few chances to check on this and AR threads. JJ did say some of the damage was consistant with monometal solid use. The rounds I fired all appeared to be Woodleigh solids and softs. The solids I pulled had the lead exposed at the back of the bullet and had the somewhat tapered roundnose. I could probably open the Woodleighs I received from Midway a couple of weeks ago to confirm but not for now. i need to get back to JJ to discuss paths forward and may try calling Simon Clode to discuss with Westly Richards.
