I have recently acquired a L. Christophe double rifle in .450#2. It appears to be a pre-war gun. It has a side-clip action body with bolstered frame, bushed strikers, articulated front trigger, and full length rib. Barrels are 25&5/8. My recollection is that Christophe was a retailer like A&F or V,L,&D. Gun has standard Belgium proofs and a crown over JB. Any info out there on Christophe? Could maker be Jules Bury?
