It is a fact that the Krieghoff, after both barrels are fired will keep the safety off and recock the hammers as the barrels are broken open and reloaded.
I wasn't going to say it first but, I'd be safety off when in immediate proximaty to a dangerous animal.

So, with all that being said it appears the Krieghoff should be a good DG DR. Two bullets loaded on the stalk safety slides off. 2 rounds fired the gun is broken open 2 rounds loaded and ready to go again instantly, no more fumbling with the safety. Danger is over decock and the gun is safe.
