Well, after reading previous posts on double rifles, I've decided to go with a Searcy. I plan on ordering a PH 500 NE with 26 inch barrels, but have a few questions.

1) Is there an extra charge for custom barrel lengths?
2) What are the pros and cons of having 26 inch barrels?

The reason I want 26 inch barrels, is because I really like how the DR looks with the longer tubes.
