I have had the fortune to handle the 470 NE Merkel (and of course my Chapuis 470 NE) and I found the Merkel to be on light side. It was the same weight as my Merkel .375 H&H. I can't comment on either the Blaser or Kreigoff. My question to you is: have you considered the weight of the guns? It's why I went with the Chapuis (11.5 lbs) for my Big Bore.
