Re: Small Bore Krieghoff Classic opinions?

In brands which have different action sizes, usually the 9.3x74R is the upper end of one range and the .375 or larger, the smaller big bore range.

If I wanted a o.3x74R, in affordable choices, I'd look at the Chapuis, Sabatti, but carefullyat the last. Merkel, I suspect might be a larger action?

I'd seriously search for used. You might be able to test shoot them. A big plus for the decision.

I'd look at, I did, the Valmet/Tikka U/O. Ugly but works. I bought a 9.3x74R double with a set of shotgun barrels for maybe $1500. Later a .30-06 DR set and two combinations 12b/.223 and 12b/7x65R.

But the Valmets go when advertised very quickly.

Heym has about seven different action sizes. A higher price range.
