Thanks for your thoughts on the Merkel. I am seriously considering one of these in 7x57R. Not too keen on the idea that they will not use my piece of wood. Merkel is not very customer friendly in that respect. I wanted no engraving and GSI told me that you get it one way, AS IS.

If I get one of these doubles I will most likely restock it with something eye popping.
