At soon.

HATARI I agree with 500 on the Webley actions, and these actions can be found in rifles with any one of a dozen names on them!

As far as strenth goes, It is my belief that box locks are generally stronger than side locks over all. The side locks, and drop locks are nice because they are easier to take care of in the field, because most of the works comes out of the rifle, on the plates, so are easier to get at. The Germans make exremely strong actions, and in some cases stronger than most Britt actions. They have an action that is called a Blitz action, and it is almost the same as the WR drop lock action. All the lock works comes out of the rifle attached to the trigger plate.

I also agree if you find one you like, and can get some pictures of it, this is one of the best place to get information on it. Any good solid Britt, or German double, with the proper chambering, and in tight condition will serve you well, as long as you do your part in keeping it clean, and properly lubricated! For a work rifle, I personally would tend to go for a BOX LOCK!
