no, it was original a needle fire action without, but the the two "disc" on the breech face that slip into the barrels appears in late 1880s/early 1890s and were meant as a reinforcement for the action. the common dreyse needle fire shotgun cartridge don't need anything like this. ![]() ![]() the older needle fire shotguns for pure paper cartridges hade a much longer opturation called hollow chamber. looks like this: ![]() |
