wkudu;I went through this years ago when purchasing a William Evans in 400/360 the rifle was the Purdey cartridge and had a thin rim as opposed to the 400/360 of Westley Richards which is a thick rimmed case the Evans came with some reloads and dies the cases were made from 9.3x74r brass so I called Jim Bell of Brass Extrusion labs about it and he said the rims were not correct at all between the thin Purdy and 9.3x74r and could not be used in its place so I returned the Evans and gave up on that caliber |
