MY 3rd VERNEY CARRON DOUBLE RIFLE - 470 NE - GOT THIS A WHILE BACK BUT NEVER POSTED

I got this VC 470 NE but never posted any info about it. I have 2 other VC doubles, an early 475 No.2 NE http://forums.nitroexpress.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=doubles&Number=348883 .... and a 600 NE. http://forums.nitroexpress.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=270035&page=0&fpart=1&vc=1

This one is super cool. I have owned 2 other 470 NEs that since went down the road. Those were a Sabatti and a Merkel. This VC out-classes those two by a long shot.

Here are the specs:

Action is Round Body Professional Hunter w/ Ejectors.
Barrels are 24" w/ Quarter Rib w/ a single Standing Leaf
Length of Pull is 14-3/4"
Weight is a proper 11 pounds 3.6 ounces (loaded)

The rifle is now cased in an All Leather Trunk Case. Field test to follow.
