300 yards is fairly easy with express sights, at least on my 14 bore muzzleloader.
John Whooters once wrote in G&A or Shooting Times magazine in the 1960's, that "express sights" are inaccurate past 25 yards.
In 1986, when my brother built me my 14 bore rifle, with a set of express sights from Brownell's, I learned that Whooters was merely writing about his own personal abilities.
