One benefit of filing the sight at 30 degrees
is that if you don't like it you can always re file it to 40 or 45 degrees.

If you start at 45 degrees, you can't put it back to 30 degrees !!!

I still recommend having a flip up moon sight - I have found it useful
in really thick stuff (big thick canop above) while chasing buffalo.

You never know when you might need it.
