If your rifle is set up for that style of sight blade, then you can get a wide variety of heights to adjust your POI. Note that guns regulated in Death Valley can shoot to a different POI at your home location.

But if you get the flip up night sight, I think it only comes in one height. So I feel it is a disadvantage.

Also, you can get fiber optic beads for your Searcy, which is what I did.
