My goto load was a 139gn Hornady flat based softpoint over 51.5gn of IMR4831. Worked very well on Roe and Red deer. It was going about 2650 fps, and could be hotted up if needs be.
My thumper is a 173gn RWS H-Mantle or 175gn Hornady Interlock over 50gn of IMR4350.
Both use RWS cases
