The 140.1 safari merkels do not have scope mounts. Think about it. The .375 and up in a DR rifle are for close in action. However, the "small bore" merkels are more general hunting rifles and I do think they come with scope bases. Blackbear hunter has a sweet 30-06 DR merkel. Ask him.
