As to safe gun handling; anyone bother with a tally of how many times he held the muzzles of the rifle at the camera or swept them past the camera with the action closed?

Yes but he is making a video with his unloaded rifle ...
Yes the gun is always loaded ... But when it's been checked, the cameraman is happy and sees the same and one is making a film, why not. It's illustrative.
