Despite its very large colonial empire, France has never designed big game cartridges. Germany has already produced quite a few, especially in the 9.3mm caliber, with the cited 9,3x74R and the weaker 9,3x72R being the most well-known. Other 9.3mm cartridges such as the 9.3x65R or 9.3x82R are proprietary cartridges, less well known and have seen little use. As far as the bigger ones are concerned, I can remember me a hardly known cartridge 10.75x70R as well as a 11.2x72R, the rimmed counterpart of the cartridge 11.2x72 Schüler, a cartridge that also has not experienced widespread use. |
