Re: Opinions on SIACE Yukon

"No idea what sort of bullets a "Tipstrike" is?"

Tipped open nose bullet for rapid expansion with mechanical lock of jacket to core. Similar to Hornady's Interlock, looks like to me. High B.C. and in a 7mm bullet weight I can pretty easily duplicate here in the US if I can't find Norma ammo or components:

"Can you easily source reloading components - cases mainly, in the US?"

Not very common, but I've managed to find and buy 100 Lapua cases, which ought to last for 7 or 8 loadings anyway.

Standard version of the Yukon looks a lot like the Bernardelli hammer shotguns that were made from maybe the 70's to the 90's (SIACE took over Bernardelli's factory). I really like the look. But the Lusso is awfully attractive to me as well.

Would monoblock barrels put any of you off?
