I really like the engraving and wood on the Lusso though. Might be worth the extra cost.
$8,000 US sounds pretty good for two barrels sets new. Usually I would expect several thousand dollars for additional shotgun barrels from a cheaper double rifle maker. Much much more from a British maker.
I would also consider the upgrade at that price. Without seeing images, of course could be different.
The import costs do make it all add up. Can't import nowadays without substantial costs.
I would ask around how well they are regulated. Makes a big difference.
