The bloke that owned those gold plated Wbys could have walked into H&H and bought every rifle with the cash in his pocket. He was a Texas oil man and one of the origianl investors in Weatherby.

Those rifles were in two calibres that never made it to factory status. One is a 257 necked up to 264 and the other is a 7mm on the 300 Wby case.

Roy supposedly never fired a 460 and had no interest in the calibre as it was only introduced because of the old 40 calibre limit on dangerous game.
