Just source a non-collector condition rifle as you describe (hopefully with bores beyond help), have the barrels sleeved in 30-30 and re regulated.
then: be ready with a suitcase full of $$$.

forget the 30-30 and go for a classic rifle as you describe in classic Brit small bore (they are out there).
