I have experienced the same thing with older Norma ammo in 8X57JR. All my Norma ammo in that caliber is somewhat old, but the oldest, about 40 years old, is quite HOT

; some that is moderately old...about 25-30 years old...is still much hotter than the last run I bought before Norma quit listing and importing the 8X57JR. All my Norma factory 9,3X74R is about 5 years old, or newer, and seems to shoot uniformily.

The Norma loadings in both calibers are much hotter than Sellier and Bellot ammo, and the 9,3X74R Norma is hotter than my 20 year old and older RWS loadings. The RWS all seems to be uniform...oldest to newest.
