Thank you folks for your kind thoughts, its very humbling really.

I have started doing a journal on my rifle, loading notes, accuracy tests etc so far. This will go with it so the next custodian has a record of what its done so it will all be repeatable in the future. My youngest lad is already working on the hunting stage & boy he's as keen as mustard!
It may not have the linage that Mr Rurak's rifle has or game taken yet, but one never knows what the future holds!
As to ever firing my rifle, it is rather long odds, but like fighting this cancer I haven't given up yet!
However that's what makes this forum so special, folks here are willing to help out with their knowledge & experience & share; rather than some poor sod trying to re-invent the wheel again.
