From discussions on another forum I think these Baikal/Spartan doubles might be a little worrisome. They may be seen as pseudo / cheap alternative DGR doubles in .45/70.

Will this be good for double rifle shooting or bad? At first I thought they would be great allowing thousands of hunters and shooters an opportunity to buy a double rifle for fun and medium game. But as a DGR (dangerous game rifle) ???????
