I just got back from Mozambique, just brought my Chapuis 450-400 3 inch and never even put the scope on it. Two old buff and two bushbucks. Had a tag for a third buff but never found an over 40 incher. First buff was 13 yards and second was 9 yards. Amazing trip.

I loved just bringing one gun but there where Franklin everywhere, literally thousands upon thousands of them and I was dying for a set of a smouth bore barrels. My guide had a 12g Berretta but I was dying to have my own for the drives back to camp at the end of the day.

Do they make 20g or 28g barrels for my rifle? Anyone have smooth bore barrels for their double rifles? Are they any good? How’s the balance, do you ever actually use them?
