I know doubles "look" short. When I spotted it, my first thought was that someone had put a scope on a 410 coach gun and when I shouldered it, I thought it felt like a 410 coach gun too!

We dont see too many DRs at gun shows around here, so I was excited. Finding it in 30-40 Krag was interesting too. If I have any complaints from the far too short time I examined it, its only that the scope is a fine crosshair, instead of the No1 post or No4 that Id prefer especially on a rifle Id expect for fast handling like a Stalking Rifle (but then Im the kind guy who'd complain if you hung me with old rope....)
