Strangely enough it seems extremely difficult to find even one picture of an actual lock plate as used by Rigby. Heaps of pictures of H&H, Purdey, Boss and Westley Richards.

Yes I remember something like that myself, and may even have posted it myself. I think it was a Mark "Bramble" design diagram. Haven't found it. Perhaps it was more than 15 years ago? The search function is limited to 15 years., Maybe time to extend it again? But really long searches can slow the forums down. Most of these forums only allow 5 or 7 years. NE is different and we like old stuff.
