rigbymauser - I think a SxS .44 mag would make a super rifle for roe deer. With about any bullet weight from 200gr.
to 265gr. cast and jacketed available in factory ammo, something should shoot to the sights well enough, I would
expect.
I like the short 20" length suggestion. The .44 needs no more.
