I tend to agree that I think the wood has been sanded back slightly.

Yes, I wouldn't mind that in my collection - probably balances well
- at 11 lbs 9.6 oz it would need to.

I have 2 x 500 NItro's - one is well balanced and a breeze to carry all day.
the other not so well balanced and starts to get heavy.

Overall though, a great gun. It will be interesting to see if it sells soon.
