With the .416 as the odd one out, the argument is, should we go for a lighter, all round calibre like the .375 H&H flanged, the 9.3 x 74R, even Curl's beautiful .303 or the (almost) ultimate stopper the .577 3" nitro?

The answer, of course is to extend the 5 to 6 so both can be included!!

All theory on my part as I have never hunted in Africa, but shooting Cal's and other guys rifles in Alaska last year the .500 Nitro was as much as I could handle
