The June shoot was fun. It was really hot, like one imagines deepest africa, but it was really cool shooting double rifles. The Stallman's put on a fun shoot, good food, and nice awards. Most folks had bolt actions but the nitro and black powder doubles were nicely represented and one fellow (a retired machinist) had several home built doubles. A shooter with a Ruger #1 did a creditable job too. I understand another match is planned for October. Highly recommended!
