Sorry, I should have said "slugs" instead of "balls". I am certain that a rifled barrel will always perform better that a smoothbore, especially at longer distances. What I am saying is that someone looking for a moderm slug gun or paradox-type gun should not overlook these European offerings. But I think you aggree with me that Paradoxes were more intended to be used with slugs than shot.
