A 11 lb 9 oz .425 WR does sound heavier than it needs to be. But any double at 11 lbs or more (mine is 11 1/2lbs) feels very heavy when you pick it up. But try swinging them and pointing them and you will find if they point and balance well. Unfortunately their weight is not like a lovely fine light weight 12-bore 2 1/2" game gun, but fortunately the weight does dampen the recoil and make them comfortable to shoot.
