"I like both rifles equally and both are a little over priced IMO....but I would go with the WR as it will always have a lot of resale value, but either way would suit me... I like the Searcy PH and will shoot mine against ANY English double rifle for accuracy, and I can load it hotter and shoot monolithics...be forewarned Butch won the national double rifle shoot with my gun hands down, second place was way down the line...I lent it to him for that purpose.... That said a Searcy is not ment nor designed to compete with English doubles, it has a whole nuther prupose..Anyone that would haul a $50,000 collectable to Africa is a complete idiot, and literally is putting his life on the line... As to the Chapius doubles, IMO they are without a doubt the biggest piece of junk I have ever seen in a double rifle, and I have owned a lot of double rifles in my day, both English, German, and domestic...
