I shoot a Searcy .470 and it holds the world title in accuracy officially as Butch borrowed it and won the Nationals with it!

Needless to say that's my choice cuz I can shoot old Leo, Mbogo or Tembo in the eye at 50 yards supposedly!

But I have always loved the 450-400 in either 3" or 3.25"..Just a nice rifle, low on recoil and slim as a French model....I have owned the in Jefferys, Navy Arms, Watson and a couple of others, all shot well if you worked on them...I would hunt and have any animal on earth with a 450-400.

A few say its too light for elephant and perfect for buffalo, but it kills elephant pretty darn dead and if the elephant can tell the difference between 500 grs. and 400 grs. he is one smart elephant..and dead...I don't depend on a bullet that will " turn a charge" knock an elephant out and all that sillyness, I depend on good shooting and killing him outright...I think it works better that way and the other is a suger tit!
