Being an absolut novice about doublerifles I find them facinating. I have read many books about them, I have yet
no practical knowledge and experience!.
I saw a Jeffery bl ejc in .577 nitro for some 30k. The gun was a plaine jane gun with no engraving or fancy wood!
Now....is it the caliber(the bigger the better) that makes the gun more attractive? I have seen a similar gun(same make) but in 450/400 but with fine english scroll fancy wood cased for only 18k and heck of a lot more attractive gun than the .577! I am much aware that condition,finish and name also have an influence and value!
