Thanks Rockdoc and 500Bos for your input! Based on other recommendations here, I am thinking about starting with a smaller caliber first, possibly a 450, then once I master it’s use, possibly stepping up to a larger one! It’ll take at least two trips to Africa for all the animals I’d like to take, so it may all work out in the end.
