Also ,how do they Heym doubles compare to the Merkels? They are more expensive ,are they any better?

I have a Merkel .500 and LOVE it. Don't regret the purchase at all. I've only put about 50 - 60 rounds through it and every thing is as tight as the day I bought it.
CptCurl has put a lot more rounds through his Merkel .500, so he would probably be a better person to ask about how the rifle handels with more rounds through it. I think the Merkel is a great gun for the money, but so is a Searcy...probably even better...
