If any PH frowns on the use of a hammer double is is probably just jealous and a bit envious he hutns with a POS turn bolt in the $500 range. It's your hunt, your money, your memories, so do as you wish. Nothing is better than using a vintage double in Africa (or anywhere else for that matter).
