The only load that I have tried in it is federal 180 gr TBBC. I shot it from a bench at 100 yds, iron sights. I didn't measure the group size as I couldn't get it in the black. We were on a deer hunt and I was primarily zeroing the scope on another rifle. I'm planning to take it to the range ext time I go and spend more time with it. I suspected that doubles could be finicky. I'll round up an assortment of ammo and see if it likes something.

You're going to have to try more than one brand/weight of ammo.
If you have the test target that came with the gun, the ammo should be noted on the target. If not, you could try emailing chapuis, they may have that info on record.
